Going Beyond The Traditional Content Marketing
Even though the article marketing landscape has changed with Google’s Farmer/Panda update, you can learn how to make it work better for you. Article marketers used to have a choice when it came to how to leverage their articles. Some focused on getting their content syndicated, while the majority relied on article directories to get ranked by the search engines. Since the updates, however, the search engines are really interested in ranking only quality articles, so it’s not enough to simply have them published in a directory.
A serious study of article marketing reveals that the game changed several years ago and has experienced a sea change with the Farmer/Panda update. Whereas in the past, all you had to do to get your article highly ranked was to submit it to one of the top directories, since early 2011, this no longer works as well. For this reason, the directories should no longer be your main goal when writing articles -they’re only a step along the way. Professional article marketers are only concerned about content syndication and nothing else. So it’s a good idea to learn as much as you can about content syndication so you can utilize it in article marketing efforts. These same approaches are used by marketers trying to achieve “MLM Success” MLM Success
When you are writing to get paid, or have a business, then time is money which means quality work done as fast as possible. One way to accomplish that is through the outline, and that should be made for all you write. You need to crank out solid articles, but remember that you have to make the high quality, too. All articles have a primary goal based on a single item, and the article then supports or describes the rest. The body of your content will serve to explain yourself to your audience, and it must be logical and make sense. The article has a main content body, and at the very end you need to provide a summary or conclusion.
If you publish articles online, there’s a good chance that at some point, someone has used it without permission. Swiped content is a particular problem if you regularly submit to article directories. You may be able to turn this annoying situation into a benefit. Do a search, using Copyscape or a similar tool, and look for unauthorized uses of your content; contact anyone who has done this. Don’t attack or threaten them, but just try to start a reasonable conversation with them. Tell them that if they’re willing to include a link back to your site that not only can they keep the article they’ve already taken, but that you’d be glad to supply them with more. Otherwise, if they ignore your request you will submit a DMCA take-down notice.
